I do NOT recommend using PIAF as it adds a lot of extra old, outdated, and useless software and dialplan. Finally, if you are going to be configuring several GV accounts (more than two or three) you may find this thread helpful: I am only pointing to that thread for additional information.

Jimboolaya is correct as far as his post goes but you CAN do what you want to do on a Raspberry Pi. I still haven't gotten FAX auto detection working, but that's about it. I gave up for the time being on RasPBX and just built my own VM running on my server at home in VirtualBox using the instructions and Debian instead of Ubuntu.

When I call the google voice number, it rings several times like it should, and finally goes to google voicemail. I did the same thing the videos shoed for the inbound route too, and just routed it to extension 201 (the Yealink phone). It will not automatically setup an outbound route, so I did it manually online multiple times based of of several videos I have watched. I logged into google voice and it says connected. I was able to get the Yealink phone and a Softphone on my iPhone registered with extensions relatively easily. I then updated it from the console and got everything up to date, and then got the modules updated as well. I got the RasPBX burned onto the micro SD card and running. I have a google voice account, RPi 3, and Yealink SIP-T20. I am brand new to VoIP and FreePBX/RasPBX.
